Pablo is an experienced British-Chilean journalist and documentary filmmaker/producer with over 20 years’ experience. In Venezuela he produced for John Pilger (War on Democracy, 2007), CBC and the BBC. He travelled to Colombia in 2010 to produce two Al Jazeera English 'Listening Post' programmes on the Colombian media landscape and threatened journalists. He has twice interviewed Bolivian president Luis Arce. He was the director/producer of over 15 redfish programmes, working with presenters on investigative pieces and others where he voiced the pieces himself. Pablo is the founding editor of Alborada, an independent voice on Latin American politics, media and culture.
He co-founded Alborada Films in 2009 and released his first documentary Inside the Revolution: A Journey into the Heart of Venezuela that same year. Alborada Films has since released eight other independent documentaries and produced films and videos for various media outlets. With Alborada Films he is committed to showcasing social issue storytelling from Latin America and beyond.
